  • My daughter just recently moved to Vero Beach and we took a used car down to her. On the trip down we realized it needed brakes and rotors and the AC wasn’t performing as needed. I read reviews, but typically never leave one, but I wanted to share our experience. I read the reviews concerning this shop and seemed most had nothing but positive things to say. Being we are not from the area, reviews were all I had to go on. I advised my mom to call Strickland’s to see if they could look at it. They were quick to look at the car, give pricing quote for what was needed, and worked to get the car to fixed quickly. We all were very pleased with the friendliness and the service provided. I would have expected to pay the same price in Kentucky as they charged my daughter. They didn’t try to take advantage of a woman and over quote or price what needed to be done. They offered to take my mom back to her hotel and my daughter back to her apartment, so they didn’t have to sit there and wait. My daughter will go back to them again for maintenance needs as they come up. Thank you Lonnie for taking care of my girl!

I have had quite a bit of work done on my truck at Stricklands , and have been VERY satisfied with ALL the work they have done. Quality work, and reasonable prices as far as I am concerned!! I feel very comfortable leaving my truck in their care. Lonnie and his entire crew are the greatest in my book!! I plan on being one of their customers as long as they are in business!!!   • We were in Vero for a few days and had dash light issues with our Sprinter. Stricklands worked us in for a diagnosis.Since the van was possibly still in warranty I needed to know if we could get back safely to Atlanta so I could take to our dealer.We were assured that was possible and their diagnosis was right on the money as the dealer here fixed precisely the same issues.Best part all turned out be under warranty!!Thanks Strickland for honest work and helping ease a travelers anxiety.If you live in Vero feel fortunate to have them when needed.

  • My car wasn't worth repair, and Mr.Strickland was honest to explain it to me. He didn't try to sell me half-measures but gave me the complete list of problems and said that I can buy a better car for the same money. Moreover, he didn't charge me a penny for the inspection which was done to find all these problems. If I buy a new car, this is the place where I will maintain it. BTW, he also offered me, If I consider buying a "new" used car, to bring it to him for inspection before making a deal with the seller.

  • While vacationing in Vero Beach our tire rod decided to start acting up. Strickland's was recommended by the maintenance guy at our condo. They saw us right away and gave an estimate of the problem. We only wanted to do what was absolutely necessary for safety as my friend's husband wanted to fix the rest. They took us the next day and got the work done in less time than originally estimated. The price seemed fair. The only thing I can criticize is they do not have any water (empty jug on stand) or coffee available.
